Description
This beautiful vintage teapot designed by Homer Laughlin is rare. I have been unable to find another like it. It features a gray, black and pink, cherry or magnolia tree shaped in a “tree of life” formation. The underside is pink.
The letters and numbers on the green Homer Laughlin stamp represents the date and the location that piece was made. The first letter and number represent the corresponding month and year the plate was made. A=Janurary, B=February, and so on… So “B 55”means the item was made in February of 1955.
This teapot is in excellent vintage condition. There are no chips, cracks or crazing. The image is intact. It is clean both inside and outside.
It measures approximately 6 1/2” tall with lid and holds 5-6 cups.
