This lovely teapot is one of sadler's last produced teapots before sadly going out of business in 2000. James Sadler founded in 1882 started in the ceramic teapot industry in the UK. His first were made using red clay and dark brown glaze. "The Rockingham Brown" or "brown Betty" they were referred to as. His great-grandson took over his vision after his passing until the year 2000. His original vision which was at utmost importance in the beginning all the way to the end of this company was a commitment to understanding what the customer really wanted this was their philosophy and they stuck by it and this is what made them skyrocket to the top his teapots become world famous.
