Beautiful cobalt blue hand painted 5-Clawed Imperial Dragon With Pearl And Flames design. The symbol of the Chinese five-clawed dragon is a very prevalent one, especially in art of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Each plate stands alone as each is freely Handpainted and signed. Each plate has very unique details and symbols. Please see pics as part of the description. There are minor imperfections noted. A few small chips noted on rim of a few plates. Will be pictured. Please zoom in and examine each picture carefully.
These Chinese rice grain porcelain (also known as grain de riz ware) plates are made of thin porcelain and have finely carved rice-like holes which are covered with a transparent glaze.
